Valley Winds Christmas Concert

Celebrate the magic of the season with one of Canmore’s most beloved musical legacies. The Malcolm Hotel is honoured to host the Valley Winds Music Association for a heartwarming evening of holiday music and community celebration.

Born in 1994 from a vision to bring live ensemble music back to our mountain town, the Valley Winds began with a handful of locals dusting off old instruments. Today, this vibrant collective features over 117 musicians across choir, concert, and jazz ensembles, bringing music to lodge halls, festivals, and grand stages across Alberta.

Gather with family and friends inside our decorated halls as the Valley Winds ensemble performs a festive repertoire designed to uplift and inspire. More than a concert, it is a tribute to the rich cultural heritage and community camaraderie that makes Christmas in Canmore so special.
